I am watching ESPN Scribbs Howard spelling bee.

These kids are very smart. These kids make me nervous. These kids were the kids beat up in school in my times.

"Bless your heart" is southern for "what a loser".

Bet you feriners didn't know that!

I was in a spelling bee as a kid. Didn't get to THAT level, but I got close.

By the way, serious spelling bees seems to be an American thing. My spelling bees in primary school never got beyond the classroom. I would have kicked butt if I did have a competition, though.

Yes, I was a nerd. And I never once got beat up at school. In fact, I had a bunch of tough guys that would "protect me" - they'd actually beat up people FOR me. I never quite understood what I did to deserve my own bunch of "tough guys".

Weird, huh?
