Coming up on 36 hours awake and alive and doing great.

Today at work was a nice day. A few excellent famlies. A couple of sexy firemen. Many co-corkers in a good mood.

It was nice.

Very rare.

I am feeling fairly good considering the fact I am close to being declared a veggie in a few minutes. *grin*

As an aside, a kiddo (2 week old) I took care of yesterday that was flirting with getting intubated for resp distress, was doing fine up on the inpatient floor. Popped upstairs to check on him and chatted with mom and aunt at 2am as they were awake because of the kiddo's great spring back for feeds. (yay!) The little squirt has been diag with RSV and I was happy to know. (finally a reason for his damned apena) We all cried SAT morning as we left because he looked pretty bad.
