Does anyone know of a free hosting site for pics and such?

I have done some research but I would like to pick y'alls brains first beore I commit myself.

If your looking for a place to host them so you can put them into LJ entries, you can do it with your AOL webspace. Each screen name on AOL is allowed 2MB of storage space.

As far as other providers, I don't really know. My cable provider gives me 10MB of space for my monthly access fee, so I don't have a need to go anywhere else.

Well, you could just always use some www.gay.com webspace. They have up to like, 16 megs or something.

And was referred to liquid2K.com, its been working find for me. I'm using it mainly to link to pictures for my journal here.

The editing/uploading page needs some functional re-design overhaul, but does work. Basically they have their editing elements set to fixed widths instead of relative widths.

Actually you are allowed 2 MB per screen name for website hosting on AOL. Since you are paying for AOL, use that. :-)

I use Printroom.com for my naughty pics (it's free, and allows remote loading of files), and the FTP space that comes with each AOL screen name for the rest.

I have high speed cable and AOL. Mostly have AOL because my other half isn't computer literate and likes the point-and-go-there interface of AOL. I mainly use AOL for email and hosting pics and my website, but my space was running out on AOL so I started uploading them to my cable space.

Does it have to be completely free? The problem with a lot of free photo sites is that eventually they block remote loading (such as from LiveJournal), and then you lose ALL your links.

Getting a website with your own domain is very cheap (less than US$50 a year), and it'll be permanent. Worth considering.
