shit man ... that is why i hated working all night (till 7 AM). there is a certain point where the docs hit a wall and nothing gets done and the patients start to get impatient ....

and they start to 'gopher' ... you know, poking their heads out of the room (mel to me, "gregg, looks like you have a gopher in room 208!" Dr G to me, "makes me wish I had a shotgun and I could practice on them.")

anyhoots ... at least we have more docs till about 2 AM so things don't usually start to get bad till around 3 AM ....

2am is the hour we reduce to 3 residents and one attending.....

And last night 2 of the residents had NO time management skills AND an attending that doesn't pick up charts for herself alone.....*sheesh*

thankfully it was a slow night and the slow twins finally got caught up...hence I got to go home...*grin*
