All I can say is a lot of people have stepped forward to the cause and support you and want to make this a good event for you. and if people want to tell you that they have donated towards your trip as your birthday present or any other reason, I'll leave it up to them in person. :)
I know one said he did in the journal somewhere but it escapes me where now. :)
But whether people gave or not because we all know some people just can't they all still share one common thing, an interest in seeing you follow your path and have warm supporting hearts and souls to help you in that journey.
All I can tell you on your birthday is one of my momma's famous pieces of advice:
"Boy, If you stand with one foot planted in yesterday pissed about where your life was, and one foot planted in tomorrow wishing for what might come, look down. All you can do with today is piss on it. So live for today, this moment. Grab it by the balls and run with it."
