I had to take care of seven kids, all were level 2 patients (highest priority-critical) and there was a 9 HOUR wait in the waiting room!!
I only sat down once...and that was to go to the bathroom!
My feet hurt....baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad
Time to crash...

I had a 1900gm baby with too many diagnosis to consider humanly possibly thrust upon me from the NICU on Tuesday keeping me at the hospital until 2130hours...yes, let me see, yes, that is a 15 hour day. Somhow I was also supposed to look after two other children while I had this little squirt (who managed to pull out a chest tube to boot!!) I think I sat down once as well and that was cuz I was gonna pass out from not eating and with no clinical support that day there was no pity on getting any breaks...Awww Welcome to Sick Kids Hospital Cardiology Nursing--Fun.
