last night at work

no one died.

only one stroked.(not our fault- *whew*)

one heart transplant rejection

3 sexual assaults

25 broken bones

one amputated finger

2 diabetics

3 sickle cell pain / VOC

one ICU resp.distress hold

one subdural/brain ICU hold

lots-o-non-emergent crap yet time consuming

the wait time was 7-8 hours

the families were yelling at everyone

I was one of the people in charge

I got yelled at alot

man ... it was awful for me as well.

i was working fast track/zone 3. deedee was my paramedic and he kept disappearing on me. he'd be gone for an hour at a time and i had to PA's working with me so the orders were just cranking.

i lost my temper.

and now i'm just fucking exhausted.
