I have a meeting friday morning.

It concerns the "Sentinal Event" that happen in FEB.

I am scared as shit.

I may have to call an attending MD and my teamleader to the carpet
concerning a patient's death.

damn my memory.

i just may be fired.

Are you referring to http://www.livejournal.com/users/clintswan/2003/02/05/ as the event? If so, it seems like EMS was the one who screwed up and not you.
I am sure you will be fine once you document for them the chain of events.

in the meeting, speak calmly, carefully, and articulately[sic]. Don't accuse. Give information. Don't point fingers at a person. Let the interviewer come to conclusions.

If they ask you open ended questions. Do the best you can with the info.. just try not to be acusatory.

You'll be fine. I've gone through this anxiety ALOT lately. .. and the real meeting is never as bad as my dreams.

No, you won't get fired. Go in and say what you remember. Sit down and write everything that you DO remember down, so you won't forget - and you'll remember stuff you thought you'd forgotten.
