Last night was uncomfortable(read:

A 1 1/2 hour wait in the waiting room BUT a 3 HOUR WAIT in the room waiting for the doctor.

The fucking patients kept popping out of their rooms like gophers aking "When is the doctor gunna see me/us?"

This sucks, because the docs aren't taken to task when they run slow.

We have to deal with the families' wrath NOT the medical staff.

However if the nursing staff is a bit slow/swamped......The attendings bitch, bitch, bitch!

I got this close (holds thumb and index finger close together) to telling off the head doc last night.

*grits teeth*

okay, calm down......*deep breath*

*pops sleeping pill*

2 more days this week........*sigh*

Hey Clint, I feel your pain! I work with people who have Ph.D.'s and some of them think I should worship the ground they walk on because they spent the money and time to get a degree to DO THE SAME THING I DO with my bachelors. Some egos are just too much and you sound like you're catching it in spades. Hope you had a good night despite the bad day that proceeded it.
