That seemed too easy -- are there really only three?

Name the fairly common word that contains no vowels. People hate me when I use it at Hangman and Scrabble.

Do words with "Y" count?

the word is nth, as in "to the nth degree".

brr is a sound, not a word, and doesn't appear in any dictionary. although I just checked, and tsk is considered a word, as an interjection, a noun, and a verb. go figure.

The Nth Degree also happens to be one of my favorite Star Trek:The Next Generation episodes.

But I didn't realize that nth is considered an actual word by itself, but I guess it just stands to reason. LOL

The The longest english word consisting entirely of consonants (and not including "y" as a vowel) is the word "crwth" which is from the fourteenth century and means crowd.

I assume you meant root words, cause their are more than 3 if you conjugate them.

Took me a while to get the last one, even though it was the easiest one. Go figure.
