Friday nite rocks!!!! umm..okay I'm here at work....*pout*

This evening has been a knock down, drag out stoopid-fest.

It angers me to no end on how many truly clueless/ignorant/nearly retarded/socially inept/religiously wacked/smelly! homo sapiens(and that's pushing it) in this country beget children!

You can't fault the kiddos for truly stoopid DNA donors BUT holy shit!

Tonight alone we had 4 ingestion patients....anywhere from a cough medicine to blood pressure medicine!!! ALL of them were the supervising adult's fault. CPS (child protective services) was working overtime here tonight...

That and one parent insisting that 98.6 F(37.0 C) was fever!!! I wanted to tell her she was fucked in the head, but instead I politely smiled and told her no, that was normal for human beings.....including children. MORON

To top that one off I had a Mexican couple tell me that their 3 day old had a 111.0 F fever..........Howdy folks, its rotisserie baby!!! *slapsforehead*

ONLY thing that topped tonight off....was the lady that told me her 15 year old boy had been playing outside and came in and told her he was hot. (Texas in summer - am I missing something here?) She said his temp was 350F because she felt his forehead and it was the same temp as the the side of her oven she was baking a roast in. *no comment as my head will explode if I did*

LORD give me strength!!!! (or as least a loaded gun and the guts to use it!!!)

Eternal Care Unit...

Just found out that my 5yo smoke inhalation kiddo moved on to the ECU several days ago...

*sigh*

* feel like crying but just sitting here with misty eyes*

I feel so sorry for the parents......their children disappeared in a puff of smoke - literally. And one of the parents lost both their parents in the same fire....

That family had got a lot of grief to work through. God, I pray that they have more family to help them out......most couples turn in on themselves and grow apart quickly after losing all their children.
