Well, not for the sake of "readers out there" (like me), I trust. I've come to realize that one aspect of the LJ experience is the ability to see people in all sorts of moods and/or places. I certainly understand the need to pull up one's bootstraps and get a grip, but I like to think that a blog is a place to vent both the negative and the positive.
So I hope this comes across as a positive thing! :)
Your posts should reflect your world as it is. So don't worry so much about positive posts. I think what everyone wants is for you to give yourself the benefit of the doubt more (you are a cool, attractive, dude!) and to have more fun when you can. You have to deal with so much pain and suffering at work, that we want you to have some joy in your life too.
