I didn't know him, but I remember seeing a few of his posts while browsing on your friends journals. Did he have heart related problems prior to the attack?
He was a sweet, kind man who was quick with a kind word. He will be missed by many people. My heart goes out to his son and his friends. They loved him dearly.
I am sad today. I'm going to miss Phil and the sweet caring way he treated my and others. We'd both recently gone through a similar life experience - partners having an affair - and his empathy and kind words helped me through some rough times. My heart goes out to his family and friends; the loss of this wonderful man will be felt by many.
