Bored to tears at work....
Jul. 3rd, 2001 03:06 amHere I sit waiting for the freakin' docs to get their buttocks in gear....
At the beginning of July every year we get the new intern docs spanking new right out of med school...
*sigh* You know what they call the last person of the graduating class of med school right? ..Doctor
I am holding their hands so much....one of they asked a very basic question while I was typing this entry. All I have to say if and when I go to med school....I hope I get someone like me who will help me not look like an idiot too much...although with as much knowledge I have, it shouldn't be too difficult. *grin*

Date: 2001-07-04 01:17 am (UTC)I've been told the one thing you realise when you get out of medical school is just how little you know. But it won't be that way for ever. We're quick learners (I hope).
And I hope that they're being courteous. One thing I'm going to do is be incredibly nice to the nursing and allied health staff. I have 3 sisters and countless friends that are nurses that all tell me how critical it is to be nice to them.
You guys can make my life hell. Or heaven. I'm not going to forget that.

And yes we make the assholes pay dearly....
But they learn very quickly...
They ones we like we pick on the most.....and they get even better for it....confidence means everything in the ER....next to book-knowledge
