adults vs. peds
Oct. 11th, 2004 06:49 amhad my first adult ER clinical shift for emt class last night
adults stink
adults whine
adults are children with drug habits and suspect hygiene habits
i dislike adults
back to my own er tonight
i do the same procedures in my er as the "paragods" (read:paramedics) do in this adult er
but my patients are smaller and scream and move when i start my IV's
*sniff*
smell me...
my shit don't stank

Date: 2004-10-11 01:32 pm (UTC)Teaching adults is so frequently disappointing. They whine, they complain, they argue shit they know nothing about. A child might get annoyed or frustrated with the material, and often bored; an adult will get more frustrated with the material and hold me responsible.
