Okay last night was living HELL......

I was the only medic in the ERand everyone was screaming for me....I rubbed a raw spot on one foot and inner thigh...

NO one died but...sheesh

I am going to sleep like I am in a come today.....night night

I had no idea you were a medic. Are you an Emergency Specialist?

I'm having my first day at the New Children's Hospital today - got terms in medical and surgical, so hopefully will get some Paediatric Trauma, but I won't get Emergency, worse luck...

Anyway, great to have a doctor on board.

OOPS Sorry if you misunderstood. I am a paramedic. I am not a doctor - however the tought has crossed my mind. My attendings in the ER want me to go to med school...but sheesh I'd be an old intern...ugh

Hell, we have people going through our medical course that are in their late 40s, and the median age of entry to the course here is 27 (which means internship at a median age of 31) - you'll hardly be the oldest intern around!

Why not try for the University of Sydney? With the state of the US vs the Australian Dollar, it's now far cheaper to study over here, even if you are paying full fees and having fly over here a couple of times a year!
