I hope it works for you. I've heard very good things and very bad things. Ultimately, it's a lifestyle change (if you go off the diet, the fat comes back). Applying any diet as a lifestyle change is going to be successful.
Personally, I wouldn't do this one, because depleting or seriously reducing the amount of a regular component of a normal diet doesn't seem right to me.

My two cents...I dropped 30 pounds before going to Hawaii in 2001. I found hamburger at fast food places is not as good as hamburger from the grocery store -- it really is mystery meat and has added carbs. I also loved Planters Dry Roasted peanuts, two handfuls of those did the trick they were salty, crunchy, and satisfying when craving a snack. Also I drank lots of Crystal Lite it fits the bill for fruit juice. Good luck bud, and crank up the cardio in your routine. 30 - 45 minutes a day of treadmill. Or 15 minutes on the Stairmaster.
