My thanks to everyone that gave me support for my recent job interviews for a new position at my current company.

- either in your thoughts, under your breath, aloud to the computer screen, written as a post comment or all of the above -

It did and does mean a quite deal to me.

I didn't get the job, though.

35 people for 2 positions, I came in 3rd.

Runner Up or The First Loser, depending on amount of milk you see in the glass as it were...

further up, further in!

(to quote one of my favorite books of all time)

Having just gone through that myself at work, I can completely understand the disappointment you feel. Hugs.

BUMMER!

But, on the bright side, you clearly impressed some important people. When a new position opens up, who are they going to think of to fill it? You.

3 out of 35 isn't anything to sneeze at! :-) This just wasn't what the universe wanted you to have at this point.

That means you're on the right track my friend! Next week you might want to approach one of the selection folks for some constructive feedback. Clearly they already like you: next stop is them LOVING you!

Sorry to hear you didn't get it, but going through the process is good! Also? One of my favorite quotes from my favorite books of all time as well. :D
